World Guessr

World Guessr is a fun puzzle game. How good is your knowledge of countries around the world? See how accurately you can place the images on google maps. 

This game has an easy mode and a hard mode, as well as a timed daily challenge.

How to play World Guessr?

In each round, you’re placed on a random road somewhere in the world on Google Maps. Use the mouse or swipe to look around to collect valuable clues as to where on earth you are.

Look at the buildings, the plants, and any road signs or shops you can spot. You can also move along the road and explore your surroundings to gather more information that will help you discover where you’ve been dropped.

Easy Mode: Country Guesser

In the easy mode, you only have to guess what country you’re in. Several options are listed at the bottom of the screen. Click on the one you think is the correct answer.

Regular Mode

In the normal mode of the game, you have to pinpoint your location on the map in the bottom right corner of the screen. Hover over the map to expand it. You can also zoom in for more accuracy. Tap to place a pin on the map, and confirm by pressing the button below.

This version is a lot more difficult. The closer your guess is to the precise location on the map, the more points you earn.

Daily Challenge

Each day, there’s a new challenge. You’ll be placed in three different locations. You have 1 minute to guess each one. You cannot switch browser windows during the challenge, or you’ll be disqualified.
