Key Lime Pie: Sara's Cooking Class

Key Lime Pie: Sara’s Cooking Class is a fun cooking game with a real recipe for a creamy pie with a sweet custard filling. Key lime pie is a famous dessert from Florida.

To make this pie the authentic way, Sara uses key limes. These small, aromatic limes are yellowish on the inside and have a distinct flavour. (If you don’t have key limes, you can also use regular limes though.)

The recipe is included in the game, so you can make this pie at home and try it for yourself!

How to play Key Lime Pie: Sara’s Cooking Class?

To begin cooking, find the items shown at the bottom of the screen and place them on the counter. Tap the cupboards and the fridge to open them and look inside.

This game is divided into 4 parts:

1. First, you’re going to make the pie crust. Chop up the graham crackers (or wholemeal digestive biscuits) in the blender. Sweeten the cookie crumbs with some sugar and then add melted butter. Line your pie tin with this cookie crumb mix. Bake the pie crust in the oven and then let it cool completely.
2. While the pie crust is cooling down, you can prepare the pie filling. Beat the eggs. Then add the condensed milk and beat the mixture again. Add the key lime juice and some lime zest, and mix again. Pour the mixture onto the cooled pie crust, and bake in the oven.
3. You’re almost there, and the pie already looks tasty! While the pie cools in the fridge, you can prepare the toppings. Sweeten some heavy whipping cream with sugar and beat it thoroughly with the mixer. Put it in a piping bag.
4. In the last stage of the game, you can decorate your pie. Pipe the whipped cream  onto the pie, and add thin slices of lime as a decoration. Chill the pie in the fridge, and then it’s ready to serve!
